Abstract

The process of teaching and learning mathematical calculus can be transformed into a cognitively stimulating experience through the strategic integration of digital-play mechanisms. Contemporary neurodidactic evidence supports that the implementation of interactive games, designed under universal design for learning principles, boosts conceptual retention by a large percentage compared to traditional methods, particularly in children aged 6 to 12. In this research context, three mobile applications for Android devices were developed using MIT App Inventor for their creation. The article's objective is to present the educational possibilities of the three APKs for mathematical learning. The games offer a different way of proposing didactic strategies in which play becomes a fundamental axis for strengthening certain mathematical skills in children.
