Abstract
The proposed research aimed to "Design a technological innovation strategy to strengthen academic performance in the teaching-learning process of fifth-semester students in the Tourism Product Development course, Sustainable Tourism Program at the Universidad Amazónica de Pando I-2024."
Recognizing the growing importance of technology in education, especially in fields like tourism that require practical and up-to-date training, this study sought to develop a comprehensive strategy that integrates effective technological tools into the teaching-learning process.
The research was carried out in several stages: an exhaustive analysis of the students' needs and preferences was conducted, as well as a literature review on best practices in integrating technology into tourism education. With this information, a strategy was designed that included the selection of appropriate educational technologies, the design of activities and digital resources, curricular integration and the application of evaluation and feedback mechanisms.
It is expected that the proposal will significantly improve the quality of teaching and learning in the Sustainable Tourism Program, preparing students to face the challenges and capitalize on opportunities in the constantly evolving tourism industry. Furthermore, this research is expected to contribute to the existing knowledge on the effective integration of technology in higher education, providing insights and lessons learned that may be useful for other educational institutions in similar contexts.
